I was just thinking about those 9846s! I know they went to a good foster home.

Hard to get more sound in that little space, that's for sure.

How are the 411 woofers? Never got a chance to really check them out.

The 411's play perfectly Joe, i'm fairly sure they were re-edged/foamed at some point, someone did an excellent job. The cones are fairly faded, but i believe they are structurally sound as they play very well. I'd be forever grateful if someone shared an effective secret for restoring the original(or close) cone color that won't adversely affect the cone physically or sonically.

I made one colossal mistake when re-sealing, the glue was still wet on the gasket material i used on the back of the 511's such that one is now probably a permanent part of it's box. I was in a hurry as i was anxious to hear them. This was the perfect excuse to make the small rectangular panel behind the horn drivers removable on both cabinets.
